Duwain Robinson is a Partner of Ascend Partners, serving as its Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining Ascend, Mr. Robinson served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of BRS. Before BRS, he was an audit manager at PwC New York, where he worked in the Asset Management practice for over six years. Mr. Robinson is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). He serves on the board of CareAbout, and is a member of CareAbout’s Compliance and Audit Committees.

Mr. Robinson holds an M.B.A. from the Edinburgh Business School of Heriot Watt University.

Alok Sanghvi is a Senior Advisor at Ascend, where he contributes to the firm’s investment and portfolio management activities. He currently serves on the board of Unison Therapy Services.

Prior to Ascend, Alok was a Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital, where he spent eight years leading healthcare investments - initially for the Middle Market Fund and later for the Advantage Fund. He led the investments in and served on the board for St. Croix Hospice, Soleo Health, Cora Physical Therapy, American Vision Partners, and Reliant Rehabilitation.

Earlier in his career, Alok was part of the executive team at MultiPlan (now Claritev), overseeing corporate development and leading M&A initiatives that helped reshape the company’s strategic direction. Alok began his private equity career at Warburg Pincus in 2003, focusing on healthcare services and serving on the boards of five portfolio companies. Before entering private equity, he worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.

He holds an A.B. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Josh Zenilman joined Ascend in 2019. Prior to joining Ascend, Mr. Zenilman worked at Cain Brothers, where he focused on M&A, capital raises and strategic advisory for healthcare services companies.  While at Cain Brothers, Mr. Zenilman executed over 15 transactions, totaling in excess of $2.5 billion of aggregate enterprise value. He currently serves on the boards of Consensus and ilumed.

Bonnie Lance joined Ascend in 2020. Prior to joining Ascend, Ms. Lance was employed by Warburg Pincus for 15 years.  During her tenure at Warburg Pincus, she aided senior management in the formation and organization of both the financial services and healthcare and consumer groups and was a team member of the LBO and energy groups.  Previously, Ms. Lance worked at Bear Stearns in the Wealth Management Group.

Ms. Lance graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and honors in International Business from Hofstra University.

Hailey Salito is a Vice President at Ascend Partners. Ms. Salito previously worked at Oak Street Health, Frazier Healthcare Partners, and Deloitte where she gained extensive healthcare and technology experience, focusing on digital enterprise transformations and corporate growth initiatives.

Ms. Salito holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Adam Taitz is a Vice President at Ascend Partners. Prior to joining Ascend, Mr. Taitz worked at Cain Brothers, where he focused on M&A and strategic advisory for healthcare services companies, with an emphasis on healthcare providers. During his tenure at Cain Brothers, Mr. Taitz executed a wide variety of transactions on behalf of private equity, corporate and founder-owned clients.

Mr. Taitz holds a B.S. in Finance and Operations & Supply Chain Management from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.

Hayley Kim is a Vice President at Ascend Partners. Prior to joining Ascend, Ms. Kim was a Vice President at Providence Strategic Growth, and an Associate at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice. In these roles, she invested in technology and services businesses across a range of transaction structures, including corporate carve-outs, buyouts, and growth equity. She began her career as an investment banking analyst in the Diversified Industries group at J.P. Morgan.

Ms. Kim holds a B.S. in Finance and Statistics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Shannon Cranshaw serves as Vice President of Investor Relations at Ascend Partners. Prior to joining Ascend, Ms. Cranshaw was a Vice President within BlackRock’s Institutional Client Business, where she provided investment recommendations across public and private markets as well as outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) solutions to foundations, endowments, family offices and healthcare clients. Prior to Blackrock, Ms. Cranshaw held roles at UBS Financial Services, delivering specialized investment consulting services for non-profit and family office clients, and at Treliant, where she advised FinTech companies on legal and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Cranshaw holds a B.A. from The George Washington University, where she was also a member and captain of the school’s NCAA Division I basketball team, which was a Top 25 program during her tenure.

Michael Chu is an Associate at Ascend Partners. Prior to joining Ascend, Mr. Chu worked at Redesign Health, a healthcare venture studio where he helped launch companies ranging from provider enablement to B2B SaaS.  Previously, Mr. Chu worked in the Global Healthcare Group at UBS, where he advised on a wide variety of transactions across the healthcare space.

Mr. Chu holds a B.A. in Financial Economics from Columbia University.

Michael Fong-Kutchins is an Associate at Ascend Partners. Prior to joining Ascend, Mr. Fong-Kutchins worked in the Natural Resources and Energy Transition investment banking division of Bank of America, where he focused on mergers & acquisitions, initial public offerings, and debt capital markets transactions.

Mr. Fong-Kutchins holds a B.B.A. in Business and Finance (Honors) from Texas A&M University.

Jennifatu Crowther is an Assistant Vice President of Finance, Tax, & Compliance at Ascend Partners. Prior to joining Ascend, Ms. Crowther worked at the Beekman Group, where she focused on oversight of the management company, investment funds, and tax compliance. Prior to Beekman, Ms. Crowther worked for five years in the Asset Management Practice at EisnerAmper, primarily focusing on private equity, hedge funds, management companies, and venture capital.

Ms. Crowther holds a B.S. in Accounting from the Silberman School of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Mark Tolmach is an Assistant Vice President of Finance at Ascend Partners. Prior to joining Ascend, Mr. Tolmach worked at Blackstone, where he focused on fund accounting of private equity funds in the Global Fund Finance group. Prior to Blackstone, Mr. Tolmach worked at PwC in the Asset and Wealth Management practice, where he focused on financial statement audits of private equity funds.

Mr. Tolmach holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Connecticut.

Lindsay West is an Investor Relations & ESG Senior Associate at Ascend Partners. Prior to joining Ascend, Ms. West attended Colgate University, where she played for the Division 1 Colgate Women’s Lacrosse program. Ms. West holds a B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University.
